In keeping with the new portal system that is now in place.
First you need to enter your admin panel, open up number 3, and click portal settings.

Now from that list click login, You will now be able to enter the components parameters.
The parameters breakdown:
Redirect = /index.html(if you want them to go to the web page) => Redirect user after a logon (/index.php would be an example)
Placed in a forum template, you would have:
Will show a login box, the login boxwill hide if the user is already logged in.
