My moderator is holding a competition on my forum and anyway i wanted to make a portal for it and its going well so far, like i put the image up and some text and when you click the image, it takes you to the topic
But i put a border around the image and i wanted it so when you go on the image like hover, it changed colour etc to red, not the whole image, just he border and i think i will have to edit the .css for this one, so Nick could you help with the right code for hovering
Thanks ~ www.manuforum.co.uk _________________

I hope what you see to the left is what your after?
the css, obviously adjust color to suit:
Code: .comp img{border:1px solid #ffffff; padding:4px;}
.comp:hover img {border:1px solid #990000; padding:4px;}
the portal code, obviously adjust with to suit:
Code: <table width="200" cellpadding="4" cellspacing="0" border="0" align="center">
<tr>
<th class="tableleft" align="left"><div class="left-image"></div></td>
<th class="tablemiddle" align="center"><font color="FFFFFF">Competition</font></td>
<th class="tableright" align="right"><div class="right-image"></div></td>
</tr>
</table>
<table width="175" cellpadding="4" cellspacing="0" border="0" align="center">
<tr>
<td class="tablebottom">
<center>
<a href="{U_INDEX}" class="comp"><img src="http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d32/NightRunner-es/Avatars/NickAV.png" alt="nicknr portalogy avatar portals" border="0"></a>
</center>
</td>
</tr>
</table>

It does indeed the red arrow is an image, so it should handle linked images too, shout me in the right thread if you do it.
